HEALTH & SAFETY
Cromford Steam Rally takes safety very seriously, the organisers of the Rally have taken every precaution. However, ADMISSION IS ON CONDITION that those attending agree and undertake to absolve the organisers from liability in respect of injury to persons or damage of property however caused.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THE PUBLIC SHOULD AT ALL TIMES COMPLY WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MARSHALS.
DO NOT stand too close to engines running under their own power.
ENSURE that all children are kept well clear of the road wheels as it is very difficult to see pedestrians from the footplate of an engine.
AWAYS keep behind the ropes they are there for your protection.
DO NOT enter the arena unless specific instructions are issued by the commentator that you may do so.
ALL DOGS must be kept on leads at all times.
Our marshals are young adult members of the Army cadets and Air cadets and are here to assist the committee with site marshal duties. They are NOT to be abused or threatened in any-way, if any of the marshals are subject to any form of abuse or threatened you will be asked to leave the rally site.
Don't forget Cromford Steam Rally is held on agriculture land, as such you may find the ground uneven in places. Please take extra care with wheelchairs and pushchairs. Suitable footwear to be worn!
